How can you remove Iron-on labels from clothing?

The Iron-on labels can also be removed from clothing or other textiles. Removal is only possible with smooth/ cotton materials.

Follow the steps below to remove the clothing labels:

  1. Set your iron to the highest setting and do not use steam. Let the iron heat up properly. Is your iron not getting hot enough? Then use a straightener as an alternative.
  2. Place some baking paper or a pressing cloth over the ironed-on clothing label (pay attention to synthetic materials).
  3. Iron over the label for 30 - 60 seconds while applying pressure with the tip of the iron (the glue needs to melt).
  4. You can now remove the iron-on label from the fabric.

Caution: the label will become hot, tweezers can be useful.
